The Doha opener will be followed by back-to-back meetings in Shanghai and Xiamen, China, before heading to Rabat, Morocco, on May 31 for the African leg.
The circuit will then move through Europe with stops in Rome, Stockholm, Oslo, and Paris, before crossing the Atlantic to Eugene, USA, a venue famed for its lightning-fast track, where five world records have been set in the past three seasons.
After the American leg, the series returns to Europe for showpiece meetings in Monaco and London, setting the stage for a dramatic run-in toward the final stretch in August. Lausanne (Switzerland), Silesia (Poland), and Zurich will host the final qualifying events before athletes converge in Brussels for the Diamond League Final.
Kenya will once again be well represented, with its top stars primed to defend their dominance. Emmanuel Wanyonyi, the reigning world and Olympic 800m champion, headlines the list after an outstanding 2025 campaign that saw him clinch the Diamond League trophy in Zurich. Wanyonyi clocked 1:42.37 to hold off Britain’s Max Burgin and Canada’s Marco Arop, reaffirming his status as the man to beat heading into 2026.
He will be joined by Faith Cherotich, the world and Diamond League 3000m steeplechase champion, and Nelly Chepchirchir, a world 1500m finalist, who also impressed throughout the 2025 season.
